| Lost Will Collapse Into Twin Peaks-style Weirdness At The End |
| Lost is a great television series, one of the best ever in my view. But Twin Peaks was too, and Twin Peaks declined badly at the end, becoming too weird for its own good, when it struggled to justify some of the tantalizing little tidbits it had thrown out there earlier on. Lost is great at maintaining dramatic tension by throwing out little hints of some deep, lurking strangeness, but I fear it will struggle to justify these within the context of a coherent storyline in the end. Indeed, to some extent, this collapse into weirdness is already happening. |
