Then the coyotes would die from starvation which would be affecting them. That is life affecting
life which means its a effect on itself and not on something else. |

Well, I don't think life is meaningless at all. I don't like my life at all, in fact, I even hate
it, but I still think there is something out there that is going to change my mind about that.
Hopefully. And if not, I guess all you can do is make the best of life. |

The lovely thing about life is it has whatever meaning you choose to assign to it. |

The human race isn't important, and if you remove them the world will probably just improve, but we
are feeling individuals. People are important in spirit, not necessarily in nature. |

I disagree with this topic of debate, because Life is what you make from your experiences here on
earth:
And the pleasure you derive from that learning process.
It is all in The Journey. |

The meaning of life is to make love to lots of beautiful women, have children and raise them well,
perhaps accomplish something which helps society, and enjoy the rewards of what we are all building
together.
It's BECAUSE I'm atheist that I find life special. |

Anything can have a meaning once it's given one, whether it be by living organisms or not. |

Your logic is flawless if you are a materialist, naturalist, physicalist, atheist or deist. If all
there is, is the mechanical clock ticking, nothing but movement of molecules and energy, then you
are absolutely correct.
Nietzsche realized this predicament. The above worldviews degenerate logically to nihilism.
Nihilism is unlivable because it doesn't work; so existentialism was the outcome. Existentialism
means that we make up our own meaning of existence. The problem is we really know that this is
make-believe meaning and purpose; so existentialism can lead directly to nausea and despair. I
suggest you search deeper for the real meanings and purposes of life, if you are truly a seeker of
truth. |

"For something to have meaning in existence its removal must have some effect on a part of the
universe." Why? How do you make that sort of conclusion? Cannot something have meaning in
existence and have no relation to the universe? Further, cannot there be meaning to the universe
that is connected to life? Without earth perhaps the universe has less meaning? A drum without
drum sticks will still exist but it has less meaning. |
