Not only in America. Liberal lobbyists have control over the Houses of Parliament in Britain too. |

I'm not sure how this is even debatable. While there are certainly areas I part ways with
Conservatives, the Liberal agenda is socialist in nature and is therefore anti-american. I long for
the day when we once again have two pro-american choices for president in this country. Ron Paul
comes to mind. I don't support him on in his pro-life and anti-war views, but there is a lot to be
said for everything else he stands for. I think he'd make a great president when we're not at war. |

Extreme liberalism certainly has a hand in harming the U.S., just like extreme neo-conservatism
does. I don't know that it's killing it but we should be a lot better than we are today. |

Democrats are out of control, and have been for the past century, as demonstrated by their
presidents.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt:
The 'New Deal' was one such example. During the thirties, when fascism was developing and the
Depression was at its height, FDR developed the Deal. It basically handed out cash and jobs, and
gave out healthcare. Mussolini's Italy did the same thing, and the free money was socialist as well.
FDR was also a bit racist. There was a lynching of Italians in '34, and Roosevelt sent a letter to
his sister saying these exact words:
"I am actually quite amused at the death of the Italians"
Bill Clinton:
Bill Clinton was not a very good president, and without him, there would likely be no 9/11. Mr.
Clinton sat idly while a series of preluding terrorist attacks led to 9/11. On leaving office, he
expressed concern for Osama bin Laden, whom he had had eight years to deal with.
The Monica Lewinsky scandal brought more than meets the eye. Did you know we have launched a missile
against Somalia? President Clinton Did this, because there were alleged al Qaeda troops there, It
hit an Aspirin factory. The reason Was to bring off attention from the scandal.
And Democratic nominees today:
Liberals when refusing to recognise terrorism and when proved it actually exists, use that as a
springboard. You don't believe me? Here: Seven years ago, was the day that changed America, as well
the world, forever. That day was 9/11. The day America was shocked, And the day Bush got to shine.
But after that amount of time, our memories have dulled, and senses faded. Do you remember in 2002,
when Bush Had a 95% approval rate? We rallied together and got rid of the Taliban in Afghanistan,
and Iraq. We toppled a murderous dictator in Iraq, but now the liberals are demanding the clean up
money for their own causes. Most Liberals are moral relativists, and thus evil and good are somewhat
fused. The concept of sin to them is only biblical. The pacifism of the Left is going to be our
downfall. If it were not for Winston Churchill, the right winger who saved England, Chamberlain and
his Pacifist ideology would kill the UK. PM Chamberlain assured the United Kingdom that there would
be "...peace in our time with Germany". Yea, right. Also, take a look to a more recent era, the
nineties. Mr. Clinton stood idol whilst a series of preluding Islamic terrorist attacks continuously
targeted the US. If he had taken action, this debate would not even exist. As Bush has stated, we
cannot wait around for the terrorists to attack us, we have to take affirmative action. TERRORISM
DOES NOT WORK ALONE! Al Qaeda, the Taliban, bin Laden, they are all linked somehow. The only way to
stop it is to stop them all, and we are close. It would be flat out stupid to leave now. Some people
say we warmonger. When we were attacked with even more devastating results in WWII, were we
warmongering? Apparently helping other free countries is a bad thing. Who would have guessed?
Indeed, the most terrible thing we are threatened by is The Left. The Democrats have appeasement on
their minds rather than solving, towards dismissing terrorists and evil, and refusing to aid our
countrymen actually doing the fighting. Not a lot of Liberals are in the army, you know. Sorry if
this got a little of track, but I wanted to kill it all. Thanks for reading. |

Liberals basically created the country you know today. Without liberals, only white males would be
voting. Without liberals, there would still be Jim Crow laws in the south. Without liberals, we
would not be the most technologically advanced nation on Earth. You need to study history instead of
repeating propaganda. Read up on the Progressive Era and understand that today the opposition calls
progressives "liberals". |

This is by far the most ignorant statement you have ever made Jake. There are so many reasons why
and I am so frustrated right now that I will end my post here to prevent any nasty words. |

It's scary how brainwashed you are for a 12-year old kid. You remind me of one of those little
Palestinian children you sometimes see chanting "Death to Israel!" at 5 years old.
Did you know that during the Roosevelt era the American right, led by a bunch of wealthy
industrialists, tried to organise a fascist coup in America? Their front man was to be marine
general Smedley Butler. Butler wasn't really interested, though. He just played along with it to
learn who was involved then testified about it before congress. Read the book "The Plot to Seize the
White House" if you want to learn more.
In the late 40s and 50s the anti-communist witch-hunt really got going. Joe McCarthy et al.
Certainly contributed a lot to Western civilisation.
In the 60s, the American right organised the assassinations of leading liberal politicians,
including the Kennedy brothers and Martin Luther King, showing the contempt for democracy that lies
at the heart of the right-wing worldview.
While still a presidential candidate, Nixon conspired with an enemy power (North Vietnam) against a
sitting Democratic president. The president was trying to arrange for peace talks in the Vietnam
war. Nixon feared that a successful peace conference would boost the Democrats' standing so he
contacted the North Vietnamese privately and tried to persuade them to stay away, promising they
would get a better deal under his presidency.
Later Nixon abused the powers of his office to spy on and interfere with his Democratic opponents,
and, astonishingly, to carry on a secret war against Cambodia.
While still presidential candidates, Reagan and Bush the First conspired with Iran to prolong the
captivity of American hostages being held in the Middle East. They were worried that a release of
the hostages would boost Carter's popularity. If they won the election, they promised the Iranians
weapons in return for holding off on the release of the hostages. The hostages were released as
Reagan was being sworn in. The Iranians got their arms and even more. While promising not to deal
with terrorists, the Reagan-Bush team supplied them with large quantities of armaments in return for
money which they used to finance illegal wars in Latin America, defying the Bolan act which
expressly forbade such assistance.
This illegal activity later became public in the Iran-Contra scandal.
The immorality of the Bush years is so great as to almost defy description. The Bush regime set up
the most systematic international abuse of human rights since the time of the Third Reich, trashing
the US constitution, misleading the public and prosecuting wars on false premises, deliberately
assassinating critical journalists and wantonly murdering hundreds of thousands of innocent
civilians. But none of that moves you as much as Clinton's aspirin factory does it? |

Since you asked nicely...
The US should have a referendum on the wars:
1) All those of voting age sign their names, for or against the illegal wars. No anonymous
votes are permitted. Those underage must also sign their names, for or against.
2) If less than half the voters say "Yes", the US leaves Iraq and Afghanistan. Nothing's
worse than cowards who won't stand up for what they believe in.
3) If more than half the adult voters say "Yes", then a mandatory draft begins. Those within
enlistment age should be drafted. Those over the maximum enlistment age should be drafted to work
as support people in Iraq. Those under the minimum age should be drafted when they reach that age.
Such draftees do not get to go home until they win or die.
4) Soldiers who no longer believe in the illegal wars can go home.
Anyone in favour of the illegal invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan should be the ones there fighting.
They should sign up or shut up if they're so "pro-war". They should put their money where
their mouth is and put their lives on the line instead of being two-faced Yellow Elephants.

Edit:
NO anonymity for the pro-war types. If they want war, they should stop cowering and fight it
themselves. They should sign up or shut up - support the troops by driving trucks containing the
troops' meals and equipment, or stop asking other people to die just so cowards can have cheap
oil.
The only people who really "support the troops" are the ones who want to bring them home. Those who
want war without fighting it themselves are selling out the troops. |
