Learning French Is Easier Than Learning Spanish
I haven't taken Spanish for 2 years, but I'm taking French now, and i believe that it's a whole lot easier. You don't have as many accents to learn. What's your opinion?

Well i grew up speaking both Spanish and English with my parents and now that i take french i find really easy to learn because some words sound either like English or like Spanish .
Si having both English and Spanish as a back up really helps when learning french

French is a beautiful language with a lot of the same sounds as English. Spanish is harder to learn because their words are not as similar. I think French is a lot more sophisticated also. It will definitely come in handy for a trip to Paris and who doesn't want to go there?

That is true b/c we have a lot more french words in our English dialect than Spanish

After four years of Latin the other two are pretty easy. French was easier for me, but Spanish is so fast in the speaking of it. I think Spanish is more pleasant to the ear.

What makes a language easier to learn is starting as early as possible. If people don't start learning a second language before age 13, they likely never will.

Second language immersion should start early, while a child is still learning his first language - usually, between ages 6-8.

Romance languages (e.g. French and Spanish) and Germanic languages (e.g. English) are generally of the same difficulty to learn. The different aspects that are either more difficult or easier; no language is completely simple to learn, and only one I know of, Finnish, is difficult in all aspects. Even many native Finnish speakers will tell you it's a tough language to learn.

Clearly you can learn any and everything easily if you try personally i like Spanish

Yeah, German is much harder. It's a very guttural language. I think Spanish is easier, actually, having taken both.

 i agree. I have studied German for two years, but can only say ich libe dich (maybe wrong spelling)
