Nah. Most humans are too busy to be enthralled by wide-range knowledge. People who live most waking
moments trying to survive could care less about the knowledge gleaned from the science or sports
pages.
Most kids in school are not enthralled by knowledge. They enjoy playing quite a bit though.
Then again, it can be said that there is knowledge in everything. There's knowledge in knowing how
to play Mother May I. |

I don't know about all churches, but I know my own catholic church is very impressed with people who
have a high caliber of (general) knowledge. They sometimes ask them to serve as teachers.
But not all knowledge is good knowledge. Knowing how to waterboard somebody (that's only one
example) is knowledge the church would not be interested in and might think it is unholy. |
