Yes and the government should feed you for free, make your bed, and go to school for you to. The
government is there to keep peace and protect you. Not feed you, or give out free stuff to you every
month. There are bigger issues then 100 dollars a year to kids who do not even care for their
government. |

Get a job! Get some respect! Get off your behind!
Who the he!! Do you think pays the government? Why should government be responsible for your
behind? Why is that not YOUR job? And where will your hand outs come from if the people who DO pay
the government suddenly decide to stop? Will you die in the streets or will you then learn about
self worth? |

Similar to the EMA scheme in the UK, which is a huge failure. I use the money to buy stuff, not to
support my education. ( By the way, we receive a huge amount more than £50 a year - try £30 a week
( $60 ) ). But then and again, EMA is for people who continue in further education, after the legal
age for leaving high school. |

Get real .... Get a job. What does a kid learn from getting paid to loaf? Our society funds the
poor, the hungry and every creative scheme and scam the greedy can conjure up. Kids 11 to 16 can
earn an allowance from mom and dad. Offer a service to a neighbor for a reasonable fee. Take an
elderly persons trash out who's knees are too bad to negotiate stairs. I'd give you a buck to gather
my waste baskets and take them to the cart, or push the cart to the curb.
Offer to weed the garden, wash a car, walk the dog. Even an 11 year old can do some simple chores to
earn some spending money.
Get some pride, build character, integrity.
If you want some summer money from the government pay into the system, or earn it.
Your free handout could be sent to a 3rd world country and feed a hungry child for a year. Don't be
selfish. |
