Just Because You Are Smart Does Not Mean You Are An Intelligent Person

Well in my opinion being smart is based on the articulation of knowledge. Intelligence is based on how you present yourself and your opinions to others around you that determine you knowledge, especially when referring to others opinions towards you

I agree because my friends isn't very smart in school but he has a very strategic mind for games such as chess etc.etc

Yeah, smarts is, well smarts, but intelligence is the ability to use what u know and to have common sense, to me, its a synonym to wisdom as smart is to knowledge.

Just because you are smart you could come off as being unintelligent by not knowing what is going on or saying the wrong thing so you could be one of the smartest people on earth and still not come off as intelligent just because of what you say or know or don't know so no just because you are smart does not mean you are intelligent

 Just because you are intelligent, you could come off as being unsmart by not knowing what is going on or saying the wrong thing. So you could be one of the most intelligent (can't say intelligentest yet) people on earth and still not come off as smart just because of what you say or know or don't know. So no, just because you are intelligent does not mean you are smart.

Sorry shipp, I had to clean up some of your writing because I want to make sure I come across as both smart and intelligent. lol

Since unsmart is starting to make it's way into dictionaries, I'm going to have to go with smart and intelligent being the same thing.

Before unsmart was being accepted as a word, I would have voted on the other side because the words weren't truly interchangable.

The only difference is that stupid people recognize what is intelligent as smart |and| intelligent people recognize smart as intelligent. Muahaha.

I am teasing that the phonetics and spelling of smart is easier to pronounce.
