Also they tend to have only 1 sugar in their tea while builders have 12 or 15

I took a wood shop class in junior high school. I got an A+ on my one and only and first attempt at woodworking.

The only A in the class of 30 kids.
I ADORE the SMELL of wood.....

Of course, that were many a year ago now...lol lol ;-)
But still.....woodworking is a lovely craft. Just excellent.

Well, the title of the debate is too bold because "craftsmanship" can mean a lot of things and there certainly are things in this world harder than joinery. BUT I'll agree with the general sentiment that making joints and corners and cabinets and any complex carpentry is truly an art and skill beyond the typical workman.

I can't say I witnessed the tea habits you mentioned though.

Carpenters and joiners are the most valued on a building site as they can usually do all the other trades too.
