Jobs Should Be Given By Race And Not Qualified People..
What Do You Think? I have lost the opportunity to better myself because of my race and I am white. I don't think this is right and no person should get a job because of his or her race...It should be by being qualified end of story...

Yes the person who is qualified should be the one who gets the job regardless of racial background.

Okay, i will say yes to this only because I am in a minority group and if you give me a job just because I am a Scandinavian-American, even tho I am unqualified, by virtue of just existing/being who/what I am born in a natural state of appearance - makes me "Deserving" of that job, okay.

But its nuts. ;-)

This could cause problems where migratory workers regardless of race, are given jobs wanted by the local community.

Jobs should not be given to people by race because that is technically fueling racism. Jobs should be given to qualified people regardless of the person's ethnic or racial background.

On the flipside of this, I believe jobs were given to people of different races over qualified people so that people of different ethnic and racial backgrounds could have a shot at a job where racism could have stopped them from getting it. I could see where people came up with this idea of giving the job to the underqualified black guy as opposed to the underqualified white guy, but that still doesn't make it right; that's still racism in one form or another.

Donald, I totally agree, but they should throw in their race, religion or sexual preference.... Sounds kinda like our discrimination law, maybe they should just enforce it for whites as well. I'm full blooded white and I'm also a minority and I've experienced the same thing as you.

Yes it should be by being qualified. This 'diversity' culture is rapidly ruining people's prospects .......regardless of anyone's colour the best man or woman for the job should get it.
