While historians agree he probably did exist the evidence is far from conclusive. If you guys want
to believe in a living Jesus fine but don’t pretend the evidence is more than it is. My personal
analysis of the available data was that considering social and religious pressures of the time and
the lack of direct corroboration from contemporary (of Jesus’ time) sources, that it is likely he
was invented much as most myths are invented to fill a cultural need. You can call me a moron if you
wish but I examined the available data and made my own decision. Can you honestly say you approached
this issue with an open mind towards any outcome? |

It is debatable whether Jesus actually lived or not. He is not recorded in ANY Roman documentation,
and those Romans kept tight books. You should provide sources for why Jesus existed. |
