Only a complete moron would say "Duh jebus doesn't exist cuz I wouldn't like that." It's a known fact that Jesus did exist and was crucified under Pontius Pilate. (PS This is my 100th debate :D)

Many religions have overlapping events providing proof that something did in fact happen. Therefore Jesus did in fact exist, because if he didn't then most of these overlapping events would not have taken place. What is debatable is whether or not the recorded Jesus had god powers or not

While historians agree he probably did exist the evidence is far from conclusive. If you guys want to believe in a living Jesus fine but don’t pretend the evidence is more than it is. My personal analysis of the available data was that considering social and religious pressures of the time and the lack of direct corroboration from contemporary (of Jesus’ time) sources, that it is likely he was invented much as most myths are invented to fill a cultural need. You can call me a moron if you wish but I examined the available data and made my own decision. Can you honestly say you approached this issue with an open mind towards any outcome?

 I highly doubt people would just make up a story about a CRUCIFIED JEW, who happened to be the SAVIOR OF THE WORLD.

Mark cant you give up on debating your religion if you hate people hating then why do you post things that are gona start stuff with you. And no jesus wasent a real person. He is a character in a story called the bible and there are many characters many down falls of this charctor but if you read it and price it together right its almist like a storybook that my mom used to read at bedtime. And they when beyond publishing it. They sent mercenaries out to starving countries in Africa to give them bibles before food. They say we will help you if you join us. If god cared so much about all his people that why does he bring them into this life so they can be starved to death in 3rd world countries.

It is debatable whether Jesus actually lived or not. He is not recorded in ANY Roman documentation, and those Romans kept tight books. You should provide sources for why Jesus existed.
