It appears that Jesus certainly had some principles in line with Communism. He wasn't into material
wealth, the saying that Hidell quotes "it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle
than it is for a rich man to get into heaven" is the words of someone who has marxist principles.
Well done to Jesus for not being so vain. |

It's clear that Jesus was a communist. In the book of Matthew, when a young man comes to Jesus and
asks him for advice about how he should live his life, Jesus tells him to sell all his possessions
and give the money to the poor. That is effectively communism. Jesus is against the hoarding of
private property. "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man
to get into heaven."
If you have valuable possessions and claim to believe in Jesus, you are a hypocrite. If you followed
the commandments of your supposed avatar, you would sell them and give the money to the poor. But
you won't - because you are too selfish. |

He would not advocate a system whose flaw is the overlooking of the very nature which he came to
suffer for: Selfish, sinful nature.
I think that sounds smart...
Capitalism, on the other hand, is based on selfish natures in competition. That's not to say that it
is sin to compete, but there is often a selfish drive for profit that is in this system. |

No, the Bible describes free will. It also has words that describe how you should live your life,
they are words. Nothing is forced upon you...although some of the atheist appear to think that it
is. You can read into the Bible anything that suits your needs. People have been twisting words for
a long time and that will always be. They have free will to do so. 'Nothing "communist" about it. |

That is wrong he was of no government. |

Well, what Hidell mentions from the Bible story is obviously true, but the term 'Communism' came
about at the same time as the Soviet Union, which began to exist in 1922 - a long time after
Jesus died/ascended! |

Umm, communism is you sell everything and give it to the government- it's a bit different. As far as
your comments go, calling people hypocrites for not following the example of Jesus's apostles (now
note, apostle is different than everyday member) 2nd, eye of the needle was the name of a gate into
Jerusalem i believe, a small one that a camel *could* get through, but only if it was stripped of
all it's goods- as in you cant take it with you- but hell, you don't want to know this, you're just
some kid who hates religion |

Jesus may have been an anti-capitalist and opposer to usury (banking practice) but don't know if I
would consider him a communist. |

Its not like if you didn't obey the bible you were killed! God will FORGIVE u! That is what makes
him a forgiving god! |

Since communism as a term wasn't developed until over a thousand years after his supposed life, then
I'm going to go with no. |
