Itunes Is Better Than Limewire

Better in aspects such as better quality you're paying for it..people these days prefer free music though i guess

Downloading is legal with itunes its not with limewire apparently

Limewire is ripping the artist off and has no music news like itunes does. You can pay for music off itunes which isn't ripping off the artists.

I have downloaded more harm with limewire than with itunes, in response to your post, sudipa.

The main reason I prefer itunes is that you are supporting the artists who work hard to make a living. Ripping off their music for free is incredibly harmful for their livelihood, while also being plain disrespectful. Being a musician myself, I choose to support others who slave away in a fickle industry, just trying to make themselves heard and make a living.

I get all my songs I don't buy from Limewire.
Who wants to pay for singles? :/
I buy loads of albums, but yeah, I mostly download singles and songs you can't get on CDs.
And btw, if you claim stuff you download off Limewire gives you viruses, that may be true. But who would be stupid enough not to check the things you've downloaded with an anti-virus program which you can also download for free?

In the debate between the two, I'd choose Limewire. In an ideal situation, I'd rather buy an album. The problem with Itunes is music can not be taken with you unless you use their merchandise. Limewire provides a better alternative for people with just a generic mp3 player.

Itunes is software with the help of which you can listen to various musics and buy them online. Along with Itunes there also comes video software called Quicktime. But Limewire is different software. It is used to download songs, mp3s, movies and other videos. Though you will find the same song if you search through Itunes or Limewire but there is a reason for which people prefer Limewire more than Itunes. The reason is with Itunes there is a virus named “Spyware”. As soon as you start downloading Itunes from the net you will encounter problems as Spyware will automatically come into your machine and cause problems unless you have taken proper anti-virus in your machine to protect it from any such problem. For this reason only we can not say that Itunes is better than Limewire.
