Being yourself is all you have in this world, truly. You have to be yourself and be true to
yourself. Following others just gets you into trouble or lets you down because they succeed and you
don't. Every single person was made differently with different thoughts and tastes and they should
be proud of what they chose, rather then try to mimic others. |

Yes, because if you make friends by not being yourself, then you have to keep not being yourself
when you are around them. Anyway, don't sacrifice your personality for a friend. It's not worth it
in the end. |

We all need to be ourselves.
We aren't robots. |

It is good to be yourself, then people can get an idea of who you actually are. People who lack
confidence may try to copy someone else's personality because they are unsure of how to act around
people. People try to copy other people to fit in and it doesn't always work. Everyone has something
to offer from their personalities and they can only do that by just simply being themselves. By
doing this, they can make friends that they can call their own. |

I strongly agree, everyone should be themselves. I think there will always be people who love you,
people who hate you and people who are indifferent to you what ever you are or pretend to be.
Personally I think people who just be themselves get more respect, though some people may get
threatened by their confidence. I also think you make more solid relationships in general if your
just yourself as your not constantly changing your personality to fit in with people. I think if
people broke away from conformity and peer group pressure the world would be a better place for it. |

No sorry to disappoint you, that's not how society works, society operates via association within
tribes based on some commonality. People who don't fit will be forced to react by either
assimilating themselves into the tribe or trashing it by either rising to the top to change it or
destroy it, failure to do any of these will be result in loners or outcasts, this does happen in the
animal kingdom too. |
