| It's Immoral That News Media, Especially CNN, Learned During Katrina That Poor People In America Are Neglected, They've Never Reported It Since |
| Remember how clear it was that the REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT, HIS REPUBLICAN DEPARTMENT DIRECTORS AND THE REPUBLICAN CONGRESS, had no care or concern that caused America to increase poor people by 1,100,000, THE MEDIA QUIT REPORTING ABOUT SUCH IMMORALITY AFTER KATRINA. Why? Why? Why? Did they get pressure or money from the 2,800,000 American billionaires or what? Americans have too long depended on TV and Radio to adequately inform them. At least local and statewide newspapers sometimes report the subject on the inside pages, like The Oregonian. God help America. |

ALL AMERICANS SHOULD START NOW TO LET TV AND RADIO TO REPORT ON THIS SUBJECT AND OTHER SAD THINGS
THAT ARE HAPPENING IN AMERICA. THEY SHOULD START TODAY TO E-MAIL CNN, NBC, CBS AND ABC TO CARRY
THIS AND OTHER MESSAGES THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO US.
SEND EMAILS TO ALL OF YOUR CONGRESS MEMBERS AND STATE POLITICIANS TO REPORT IT TO THE MEDIA AND
THEIR PEERS. FLOOD THEM THIS WEEK WITH EMAILS. There are sites that list them all, and their own
websites allow you to just click 'send email' so it's an easy thing to do.
Americans expect the media to balance the news AND to report all of the important matters of the
country, state and local areas. They, we, want to know what is happening so that we can ask our
Congressional and state officials to DO SOMETHING TO RESPOND NOW TO THE PEOPLE AND THE PROBLEMS THAT
AFFECT ALL OF US.
WE DO HAVE POWER, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE DO THINGS IN MASS. Remember how Rush Limbaugh ask his
followers to overwhelm Congress to turn down the Republican plan regarding illegals in America. He
urged them to and they sent millions of emails and phone calls and so Congress did as Rush asked
them to do.
Our country has become so highly populated that it is hard for us to learn all about our local
problems and national problems that affect us. We definitely depend on the media to get
information. We expect the "talking heads" on "news talk shows" to tell the truth about the
neglected problems that affect our lives, but they never talk about serious problems that need to be
answered. Let's send emails to them as well.
IT'S CRAZY THAT THE CONSERVATIVES IN AMERICA SAY AND BELIEVE THAT "THE MEDIA IS TOO
LIBERAL"......THAT IS SUCH AN UNTRUE BELIEF. Liberals care about meeting the needs of people in
our society. Liberals try to respond the needs that affect people. Liberal citizens try to elect
people who believe as they do, that government at federal, state and local levels, must all respond
to the needs of people and our sick environment. Liberals are the truest Americans.
Liberal churches are churches that respond to the needs of people in their community. Liberal
churches are the first to respond when there is a disaster in their state and their communities.
Liberal churches do as Jesus said: Help those who are in need, be merciful to the poor, take care of
the elderly and widows, take care of little children. Unfortunately, conservative churches care
only about themselves, increasing their numbers, being political and donating money and time to just
two political subjects: Anti-choice against women and hatred for gays in America. When was the last
time that you knew about any conservative church going out to help the homeless, the poor elderly
and single moms with children or pregnant teenagers who would adopt out their baby if someone such a
church took care of them and paid medical bills during pregnancy to adoption, or when have you heard
of conservative churches being damaged in any way whenever a homosexual couple adopted a child or
married, if living in a state that allows it, or if "domestic partners" were giving a few state
benefits that married couples get in their state? No, you don't hear because conservative churches
don't. They are so hypocritical.
If individuals, who are politically conservative or socially conservatives or religiously
conservative, would get worked up about the media and politicians neglect of telling Americans about
the needs of people in their local communities, the media and politicians would do something to
solve such problems. Instead, all of them just don't care. They prefer to stay ignorant of the
problems and needs of their neighbors and to rail against politicians who try to help. To stay so
ignorant about the society and culture is immoral. |

Who are you to say what Americans try to do or what conservatives try to do. Don't fall into their
trap.How are you going to call them out for what they should be reporting? There's no way to know
how they feel. There's nothing the media can do that isn't in the process of being done. I think
that's really so infuriating. Media throws your own lack of ability in your face. "this is what's
going on in the world. Don't you wish you could make a difference?" Then they act all smug like
they told us exactly what we needed to hear. I also don't understand why SNN gets so much flack.
They're all terrible. The days of unbiased opinion are over. We have to want them back i suppose.
Media has a purpose. The message has just become so convoluted. Media doesn't determine poverty
and the people that use it to gauge what they should do next.Well i don't know what to say about
those people. |
