I agree because you save money growing your own food and it's healthy for you |

Yeah, sure is. |

It is healthier because you grew it, that makes it more pure. Also, it feels better knowing where
the food has been |

I have to disagree slightly in what Cephus has just stated.
At the moment, my family are growing cucumbers and tomatoes in the house.
...On the window sill.
We're not leaving loads of space for them and they're stuck in plant pots. It cost about £1.79 for
a cucumber pot plant. If you have real issues about money then stop eating junk food and swap it for
something worth eating. It's so rewarding when you watch a cucumber grow and then eat it!
Not have the time?
It takes 2 minutes to water a plant in the evening or in the morning. That's all.
You're becoming incredibly lazy if you think this is far from your reaches to even bother.
Healthier, organic (obviously in the house you wouldn't have many bugs flying around the place) and
fairly cheap.
Just think: One cucumber plant can grow at least 5 cucumbers. Saving money here! |

Ok I agree with Cephus, some people don't have the time and space to do it. But I think it would be
a lot healthier, and cheaper for you, so you don't have to buy fruit and veges at the store, and you
make money off of it if you sell it, and you can make delicious jams with the fruit you grow.
But it would have to come to responsibility, and you would have to to take care of your garden etc. |

Definitely. No added this or that, no frankenfood, and the seeds can be saved each year. Even
growing one or two veggies or herbs can be a help. |

True, but it is a different matter to find time to properly care for a garden. |

That only works if you have the space and the time to do it, often people have nowhere to grow
anything and live in a place where soil conditions are poor. Further, while I'm sure this is what
you meant, you can only grow vegetables and people's "food" includes a lot more than that. Should
people have their own herd of cattle and make their own hamburgers? Certainly not. |
