Try telling that to a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
People who have been reformed for years count going to meeting as the thirteenth step, and do so at every given opportunity. Not only to keep themselves sober but to help and encourage those who want to.

First, some "habits" are "addictions" and you cannot declare addictions breakable in just a minute.

Now, if we define habits to exclude addictions and also define the minute to break as meaning the minute to decide to change your habit, then you could have a grain of truth to your statement, but those are both a big stretch.
