It Seems Like Television Commercials Are Directed To Idiots.
The marketing tools they use are insulting. "Ya know what, I think I like the product that's in color vs the black in white product where the person is frowning and having a very difficult time *while some guy plays the wa wa waaaa tune*." Does anyone else feel insulted by these media programs?

I personally am sick and tired of commercials and that it would be better if we just got rid of them. Commercials usually take 5min long and therefore the program lasts 15min if it is a 30min program. Sometimes it seems like right after 2min another commercial come on and to tell you the truth, people buy things all the time at their favorite store,or others if they feel like it, nad tend to browse and buy whatever they want. So we don't really need commercials anymore like they used to when the TV came out

 It tells us that most people are simpletons.
Did anyone see the Ditech commercial in which they say
"People are smart" implying that smart people will choose Ditech?
That is one of the stupidest.

Froggy doesn't think it's directed toward 'stupid' people. That's a silly way to put it to put it actually.

Froggy has a grandfather in the advertisement business and says most of his silly slogans and such are used to catch a persons attention. Does no one agree that those stupid little quotes catch your attention? (And that's whether your insulted or not)
Commercials are advertisement so that people who walk into stores for the same old thing will know that there is something else out there that they might want to try.

Froggy doesn't like commercials either but that's a completely different topic than what is being asked.

The point Froggy is trying to make is that it isn't trying to be directed at stupid people.
Colorful, fun things catch people's attention and that's what buisnesses are trying to do, just catch attention.

You catch more flies with honey than vinegar and Froggy knows. Yum! (lol)
