The afterlife is more important because it is everlasting, while this life is finite. Why should I
concentrate my energies on this fleeting existence at the expense of my eternal destiny? This life
is just a test to determine one's place in the afterlife. Those who live for the "here and now" are
blind to the big picture. They live superficial lives, heedless of God.
Death is not the end. Don't be fooled by materialism. It's better to find out now than when you die,
because it will be too late by then. God will not give you a second chance. |

Depends. If thinking that an afterlife is more important detracts from how we live this life, it
would obviously be wrong. If thinking that an afterlife has a positive or equal effect on how we
live this life...then no, it wouldn't be wrong.
Those who think they live a better life than others because of what they think or don't think are
idiots.
If a belief that helping people live this life detracts from how this life is lived it could be
argued that it's wrong. If a belief that pizza tastes good detracts from how this life is lived it
could be argued that it's wrong. |
