It Is Time To Regulate The Oil Industry The Way Electric And Natural Gas Utilities Are Regulated By Utilities Commissions.
I am not a fan of big government, but sometimes corruption makes government intervention appropriate. Utilities like electric power are regulated. The current gasoline situation shows that it is time to regulate the oil companies because of corruption.
Just an hour ago, the Senate Republicans shot down a bill that would tax the big oil industries.
Not only are big oil companies corrupt, but the politicians are too.
Taxing them will only increase the price. No company absorbers costs like taxes, they always pass them on. Taxing the companies would be bad for the consumer.
