I looked at a few and haven't found any yet I thought were a better match to me or that did not have
some other annoying factor I didn't want to deal with. For example I'd rather write a reply than
record a video which is why I didn't care for debatehall. BUT if you have any to suggest I'll take
a look.
And hey people come and go from internet sites all the time, it's normal, so when you've had your
fill of this place just move on. I considered it about a month ago, I just didn't see anything else
that excited me too much.
It just didn't make sense that all these fake debates were posted and drowned out the debates that
had real substance. The other site I debate on may be small but at least I have somewhere else to
go.
I have no idea what the owners of this site are thinking. They do not remove multiple avatars most
of the time, they allow the multi avatar users to insult and demean the regular debaters and they
seem not to care when people leave the site. What happens if all of us who are really here to
debate leave? The site will have one or two users with a bunch of avatars. Maybe that's what they
want....their own chatroom that no one else wants to be a part of. Still, I like this site and have
trouble staying away. Those of you who are honest and post cogent responses and comments, make the
site. The multi avatars seem to want to ruin the site. I don't think we should allow them to do
that. We are here to debate. Why not just debate on topics that we know are posted by normal
people and not people living in "the land of make believe"? I did respond to some of the stupid
debates today because they were so stupid that I felt posting something would make others post too
and that might just make these losers stop. If they freely post stupid and meaningless debates and
no one responds (aside from their little group), we have given them what they want.
I haven't looked that hard, but this is the best site of it's kind In my very own 'umble opinion. So
if you find somit better then why not tel everybody.
Perfectly happy with this site. Anyone who cries about it's condition or is unsatisfied with it's
presentation or way of functioning can just stop frequenting it. How hard is it?
It's no consequence to me how this system is run. Because its a democracy, I will withdraw when the
site is no longer suitable for taking part in. Featured Debate may be run by a program also.
