It Is Time To Close Loop Holes And Make The Rich Pay Their Fair Share In Tax.
None of the three main parties will do it, the public should take to the streets and demand the rich pay their fair share instead of us ordinary people constantly footing the bill. The money could be put back into services and back into education like Labour are suppose to care so much about, then students like myself wouldn't have to pay tuition fees, more people would go to university and we could be the investment of the future, And the money that the rich are taxed on could go into other things as well, like the NHS.

150 people paying .01 % of all taxes paid in Britain is actaually a HUGE amout for them too pay.

I don't know what the ratio is for the kind of work that calls for university educated personnel, against those jobs that do not, but most jobs can be carried out by none graduates and on the job training. University isn't for everyone and I cannot for the life of me see why the tax payer should pay so that you can have further education.

Rich people have fulfilled an ambition. If you have no desire to be rich you probably won't be. Why then should rich people pay tax disproportionately against their will?

I don't doubt some rich people abuse the system or dodge taxes or live too oppulently relative to all the poor, BUT poor people abuse the system too (welfare fraud, cheating on their own taxes, etc). I'm in favor of essentially a flat tax. Everyone should help shoulder the burden unless they're totally disabled or underage. And yes that means the rich too should have to pay up too - no loop holes allowed in my flat tax.

It's time for the poor to get off of their f@t a$$es and start earning an honest buck for an honest days work. What gives you the right to rob the rich?

I was part of an interesting debate about free education yesterday. Did you know that in this country around 150 British born people own around £857 billion and they pay 0.01% of tax? Now what gives them the right to pass the burden of paying tax onto us the ordinary citizen? If anything the poor are being stolen off. And I've left you a comment regarding immigration that I'm waiting for you to get back to on the other debate.
