Fairly obvious. |

Possible? Very much so. There has to be a middle eastern or oriental country that does this. |

Did you get this idea from the movie V for Vendetta? |

I don't think the government is that smart, or that stupid to attempt it. Diseases can be traced
back before governments were even made. How would the government infect people without being
caught?
Although, I must say, it's very intriguing to think about. I once wondered if the government made
up the whole science field to get people to shut up, but now I realize that there's no way that
could happen. Yeah, I was kind of dumb back then. |

This is one of the most outrageous things I've ever heard. |

Not really, any disease that would be deadly and communicative enough to make a major difference in
the population would be too hard to control. |

|
| |
|
| |
|
|
Again this would make a great movie, but in reality I can't see it happening. I can't think of a
single outbreak that might fall in this category. It would only cost the government more time and
money. |

China doesn't have to. Just saw a 60 Minutes piece where they tracked an American business illegaly
shipping computer waste to Hong Kong. They went to a "recycling" area where men, women and children
were melting down the plastics and extracting the lead with methods dating back centuries. Their
water is the most contaminated on the planet and needless to say cancer is a real problem.
This is a SICK world. |

Bogus. The same diseases we battle today existed before modern civilizations, before the Bible was
written. And even if governments COULD taylor make a disease there is no evidence that they have
one to which they alone have the antedote, so releasing such a thing would screw them too. |

No, it doesn't make sense. The existence of disease long predates the existence of world
governments. Diseases are natural, and along with infections are a very powerful and ongoing force
in natural selection, as natural selection favours individuals that possess forms of genes, or
alleles, that make them more resistant to these. That's why they exist. |
