You can't deny that it would hurt a bit to hear someone insulting you...but I agree. Too many
people are too sissy to ignore the losers who are inconsiderate enough to make fun of them. You
can't control what they say, but you can control if they ruin your day.
I'll give you an example: Someone called my friend a "dirty lesbian." She then proceeded to cry in
her room. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to hurt her feelings, but why the heck would
she cry over something so stupid? The person didn't even know her, and even if he did he sounds
like a stupid jerk anyway. |

I mostly agree with you. What should it matter if a stranger says something rude to you? What really
matters is how you feel about yourself.
You don't have to measure up to their preferences. I don't agree how you say, "Some people were put
on the Earth to be ignored." I don't think they should be ignored; two wrongs don't make a right. I
think they should be avoided.
And if you must respond back to them, be polite. It will show the rude person that you don't care
what they said. |
