What's the point of doing a job if you done get any moral and emotional satisfaction out of it? |
| |
|

|
| |
|
|
I say go for it. I am doing what I love and wish I had not wasted years working for someone else. |

|
That's generally true.
Of course you might have an amazing aptitude for something your family or society desperately needs
you to do but which brings you no joy at all -- Like a doctor who gets sick of doing it, a
multi-linguist who no longer wants to translate, a genius artist or singer who really doesn't feel
it anymore.
But, it's your life, your choice, and it's far better if you enjoy what you do. |

|
|
I wouldn't say a waste but not really the best thing you could do.
Your spending about 1/3 of your adult life at work id hope you'd enjoy it. |

A lot of times it is good to do a job you are not proud of. Be more specific in the type of job and
the circumstances that led you to that job.
Then there are times it is Bad to do a job you are proud of especially if you don't realize the
underlying hidden damage your job is causing others.
Be more specific: What job and what circumstance. |
