There are suitable reasons which describe the carelessness and inefficiency of the Government and as a consequence the pain and sufferings that were borne by the general people is an evidence for the same. Some incidents like the 9/11 is no longer hidden from any one and everyone is having just one statement in mind that the major fault lies in the hands of the Government because they were aware of Osama Bin Laden before the incident. This is one such incident that has scripted its details in the pages of history as a massive destruction which involved many countries alongside. Besides this also there has been many situations were it is seen that the situation would not have gone that much out of hand if Government would have taken the right decision at the right time.

I think America has created Osama and He doesn't even exist in our world.... Many video analyst says that he possess a different characteristic in a video. The day twin tower incident took place there was not a single Jew in it... Its all pre planned by Jews not Muslims. America is using only one excuse to invade in other countries. Like Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan etc.
America is a world power and its nt a big deal for it to find someone....
We study international Relation in college.... But nothing is happening according to our books... Its just the misuse of power.

Do you have any reference to this claim?

I think governments should take much more responsibility for their actions.
What the Bush and Blair governments have done in Iraq has made the world a much more dangerous place.
The threat from terrorism didn't emanate from Iraq and saddam had no links with Bib Laden , he was his enemy, nor were there weapons of mass destruction as the rest of us knew.
The problems of the drug cultures needs to wiped out by governments who are too complacent in their dealings with drug crime and drug taking. They need to educate in schools and the family to make people see that what they are doing is wrong and hurts everyone around them.
Governments need to stop misspending on things such as weapons and provide good housing, education and resources that are made available for people to improve their lives and their children's lives.

Without government, who would keep order? With no laws, rapists and murderers could rule with no one to stop them except other criminals.

Me personaly I still believe in the goverments fondations for example or rights as Americans. And we all must take responsibilty for there flaws to a certain degree like researcher said before no ones forced to do bad. But they are sometimes push to certain ideologys that cause this acts. But the goverments not the problem the people that are controling the governament the copprations are the real problem

Without government, the whole world will be in turmoil and society in complete chaos. We need law and order.
And why attack other countries if that have not yet caused a risk to national security? And as for drugs, they'll always be around. Just because you are in a "drug environment" doesn't mean you have to be involved in them anyway.
I think instead of trying to blame the govt, you need to educate yourself and become more aware and open minded of reality. Without govt, society will collapse, killing will become even more frequent, as would sex attacks and drug abuse.

Governments are instituted among men to guarantee that that everyone has the rights of life, liberty etc.. Government isn't the problem, its excessive government, corruption, and useless wars,, and the cause for the problems we have today.

Its the governments fault your poor, uneducated, and cant speak proper English. Are you from New Orleans? The pain we are all feeling right now is the the price of oil. This is not caused by just our government, but the world market, analysts and forecasters. We are a county divided that will never unite. 911 Is one of the only times we did, but that didn't last long did it? Lets blame anyone we can point the finger at.

Yes the government knew about Bin Laden but they did not know where and when he was to strike. What were they to do march into another country and arrest him for conspiracy. America is already looked at as the world's bully so where do we stop?

So its because of the government why we get attacked... So it was the government who hired the terrorist n its the government who sent em to flight school and it was the government who flew em into the buildings.... Hmmm really weird bc i thought that had to do with bin laden! The government might have had signs but they did the best they could... Our government needs work but who decides the people we put in office WE do... So if its the governments fault it really is our fault too but like i said we didn't hire them to do that.... An evil guy did who lives all the way around the world! Think bout that before we put blame on the government! And think bout it before you go and vote again but that's a different story! Also when anything goes wrong we always blame the government! Why don't we start looking at the people who do it! Not the government

Well put but you have to remember these are the same people who think vidoe games cause kids to kill and rock and rap music rots your brain. They refuse to take responsibility for their own actions.

Government is PART of why bad things happen that cause pain. The root of all suffering is evil desires. That is the root cause and what we should focus on more than any other reason. Evil desires lead to death.

I think this debate has singled out the Bush government here and undoubtedly this is to blame for many things, including the rise in the danger of international terrorism on a global scale . Gun laws, drug culture , violent crime and unemployment are great problems too.
We have similar problems here in the UK too.
This week it was highlighted, on the news, that the death rate amongst teenage boys, from gun-related crimes was at an all time high .
Teenage pregnancies here are the highest in Europe and our young people are low achievers in education.
Yes the government has a major role to play here. I do believe, however that people must take responsibility for their own actions, especially when they affect society and other's. No-one is forced to buy a gun, take drugs, turn to crime and to blame the government is the easy way out of taking responsibility.
The government needs to look at root causes such as unemployment, lack of hope, poor housing, inadequate family life , childcare and act accordingly but at the root of the people have a choice and should be penalised heavily if they act in away that hurts the rest of society .
As regards to issues such as terrorism this is more complex and is another debate.
