It sure is. No matter how lonely or depressed a person may feel, chances are there is at least one
person out there that will be affected negatively by their death. |

I agree, even though it is one's right to it, it still is selfish, considering it hurts so many
people to pick up the mess you left behind. |

I think suicide is a selfish act to get rid of their own problems and make all their friends and
family suffer as well for the rest of their life. |

Experience with this issue speaks louder than those opinions expressed concerning it. I have
experienced this in my lifetime. I will not bore you with the long details, but I had an uncle who
was injured in a motorcycle accident. He lost all control of his body from the waist down. He was
wheelchair bound for many years. His mental health suffered because of it; however, he was still
loved and cared for. The things my Aunt did for him were amazing. Well, he made the decision one
day to lock himself in the master bedroom, with the family all in the house and them pleading with
him to open the door, he spoke to them, told them he loved them and then blew his brains out.

I think suicide is selfish to an extent.
It is true about inflicting pain on people who are left behind.
People whoever attempt suicide think they can't turn to somebody for help therefore they are quite
weak and don't really understand that someone can help. That's a bit selfish in itself.
I have thought about it in the passing.
But seriously, there are people who are way more unfortunate than I am and I should make the most of
what I have. |
