College has become alomst necessary these days to get anywhere in life. So, I agree that everyone
should at least try to get in. There are all kinds of funds and programs you can sign up for for
assistance in paying tuition, so there is no excuse. Of course, with the economy the way it is and
with the cost of tuition rising, it doesn't help the average teen going to college.... |

College teaches you independence, life skills, social skills, and education. Everyone should go for
college. |

Yes, everyone should go to college or at least get some form of education beyond high school.
That's one of the signs of maturity, doing things that you should do, to advance yourself, even if
it's something you're unhappy with. |

I do think they should at least try it...give it a chance..you know that if you actually like it
...it could change your life....wouldn't that be great... |

I disagree with this statement. College is not for everyone and not all students are well-prepared
or well-equipped to go to college. There are many other options out there other than college. I
agree that all high school graduates should at least try to do something after high school, but
college is not for everyone. If colleges started letting everyone in, then we would definitely have
a lot of failures running around because some students would not be able to handle it. Therefore, I
would disagree that college is for everyone. Not everyone should consider college. Only those who
are serious and well-prepared should consider college. |
