Stated viewpoint: Your personal opinion is that it is wrong for a black person to be with a white
person.
Opposing view: This is not your opinion; in fact, you believe that it is right for a black person to
be with a white person.
It's a head-scratcher, but I think I'll have to support the first statement.
Now, if I only knew how to define a "black" person and a "white" person. Does color count?
Culture? Clothes? Couth? Credit rating?
Who do you see The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) dating? How about Mariah Carey? Jessica Alba?
Comedian Dave Chappell had a skit where the races held a draft (like in sports) to choose who they
wanted on their team. The Whites picked Colin Powell, but had to take Condoleeza Rice as well; the
Blacks... I don't remember. Probably Tiger Woods. The Asians picked the Wu Tang Clan.
But heck, who am I kidding? I feel a little uncomfortable when I see a nice French girl dating an
Englishman. |

It is perfectly fine to have preferences, but to say that it is wrong for one human being to date or
"be with" another human based purely on the color of their skin is quite a statement. In some
cultures it IS considered wrong, but for the most part in America it is not.
But like I said, it is OK to have preferences. Perhaps you should have worded your statement
differently as to not sound blatantly "racist". Sometimes we say things in ways we did not mean to.

Okay, i for one have liked someone of a different race. And been in a very close to someone of a
different race. Specifically black. There is NOTHING wrong with it. How on earth could that be
wrong? If God created us all, then that's doesn't go against him. And if we were all created

What's wrong with it? It's blatantly not going against a God's or many Gods' will as it is
happening. The statement above also implies that slavery is more righteous(spell?) than a black
person being with a white person, but if that's the case, why would this God need to have sin since
the only viable reason it is here is because of free will. If this God promoted slavery, it is very
contradicting that he also promotes free will as well. |
