Don't you all remember that episode where Bart sold his to Milhouse for 5 dollars? I just solved the
debate with concrete, undisputable evidence. You can thank me later. |

We all sell a little bit of it. |

I would say that, metaphorically, you can 'sell' it by abandoning it in favour of material gain or
selfish endeavours. By acknowledging, then forgoing your soul, you effectively give it up. Whether
someone else is then able to claim it I don't know.
As for God being the owner, I would imagine He sacrificed that ownership when He introduced free
will. As such, the hypothetical soul is ours to do with as we please.
But literally, I have not yet been visited by a stranger with cloven feet and a pointed tail
offering to take my soul off my hands for a stunning array of silverware. |

Yes.
Like the air you breathe in and out into your lungs, you cannot see it or touch it, but you surely
WOULD miss it were it gone. Should you wish to test this concept for yourself? Hold your breath 3
minutes and get back to me on this at that time.
Your soul, once lost, you as a person who cannot in this form of flesh-human, in this existence, who
cannot see your soul, cannot therefore find it for yourself.
When you lose your soul on this earth, in order for it to be found, you must call Ghost-Busters, to
locate your @ss-Soul for you.
911-call on Jesus: He busters-ewe-up-as-a-lost-Sheeples.
He is The Good Shepherd, and as such, can find the lost sheep: And, as He is also a Spirit - He is
the Good Advocate:
Jesus, when he left, resurrected from this earth 2000 years ago into the heavens whence he came; He
left us His Holy Spirit: The Holy Ghost is the Holy Spirit in some translations: He, is the
Paraclete : Advocate, Intercessor, Pleader on our behalf.
Equipped to locate lost souls and re-find them. This term is referred to as , "SALVATION'.
Equipped to also re-fine them. This term is referred to as , "SANCTIFICATION".
The work - all of it - is of The Good Shepherd.
We - all of us - are the Sheep.
And although none us can SEE Him, the Paraclete, He can see us, and that is all that matters. Our
very breath, comes from God; our lives are a gift, from God.
And should you miss your soul? Ask Him, to find it for you, and He will. Jesus is really good that
way....;-) He has Technology. |

I'm not quite sure where to post this because you contradicted yourself in a way. First you said
that it is possible to sell your soul. Then you asked a number of questions which in themselves
state that no, it is not possible. |

My spiritual sense tells me that our soul is the only essence of what we humans contain, that cannot
be sold, or token away. Our soul is our spirit, mind, imagination, and emotion all wrapped up in one
module specified for the afterlife. We cannot lose our soul without the existence of a mythological
curse, but I believe the integrity of our soul can be changed, inflicted, and damaged. |

Nope. Our souls have been redeemed. Paid for. Bought back.
The question is not can we sell our souls. It's can we nullify the purchase that has been made?
We could go to the purchaser and petition our soul be returned to us on the grounds that it is ours.
The ensuing debate would likely be interesting.
We could run in an attempt to steal our soul from the owner.
We might try subterfuge. Mask our soul so the owner doesn't recognize it. |
