If they are sensible and take steps to ensure they are safe then why not. But are teenagers really
sensible enough to make these mature decisions and would they be able to keep themselves safe. In
some cases yes, in others no. |

If you can do it go for it! |

Well I think we know what doesn't work, there is an alternative. |

Yeah i have no problem with that ... If your going to be careful about it and you love the person
enough then i see no problem. Sleeping round with anyone and everyone unprotected is a whole
different story. |

There is nothing wrong with having sex if you are mature enough to be careful. Enjoy it. |

I did (very responsibly while getting good grades, hint hint) so I can hardly moralize. However, I
think you might benefit from studying for English a little more and canoodling a little less. |

I really don't understand this concept of "teens".
I understand that you are referring to teenagers, but you seem to talk about them as if they are
some weird sub culture who need to be treated so differently.
As for your debate, as long as it is done responsibly, it's fine.

Yes i do its OK as long as you have protection |

Teenagers are people too! They should be allowed to have sex just like adults and children! |
| |
|

|

We all have human rights and having sex is apart of that; we have the right to have sex if we want
to. |
| |
|
| |
|
| |
|
|
Sure, BUT
i pour this one out very often
we need to educate our teens so they can make the right choices. Instead of just telling them not to
have sex. The majority of teens will disobey, sometimes for just the thrill of doing it, I did, |

So what if an 18 yo and 19 decides to get married? They shouldn't have sex until they are 20?
What is the psychological difference between 19 & 20?
Can a 20y0 take care of a child any better than a 19 y.0
Need to clarify your debate. |

Yeah dumb thing to say...1you lose all self respect for each other and you 2 you feel like an idiot
when you get them or get impregnated
and this is coming from a 16 year old guy usually the one who agrees |

No, teens should not have sex because they are neither physically, emotionally or financially able
to handle the consequences of their actions. Sex is an inherently risky proposition, especially in
the age of AIDS and teenage pregnancy can ruin the rest of your life.
Those who choose to follow biology and not rationality are clearly not mature enough to engage in
the activity, regardless of age. |

Sex is not evil and yes, in a perfect world, everyone should be perfectly free to have all the sex
they want. However, "teens" are not physically or psychologically mature, generally speaking.
Teenage brains are swimming in hormones, literally, which has many documented effects, altering
eating habits, sleeping habits, decision making abilities, moral judgments, etc. And the simple fact
is, sex can result in transmitting harmful or even deadly diseases, or pregnancy, which frankly is a
responsibility that 99% of American teenagers are not prepared to deal with, emotionally,
financially, or otherwise. And so, generally speaking, teens should just wait until they are a
little older and better able to make decisions about sex, and to deal with the consequences. |

Sorry, but having random sex with everything puts your health at risk. And that's just the
beginning. |

Why should teens be aloud to have sex when there in school and not Even married? It messes up there
chance of having a normal teen age life. Having a good collage going to school and getting a good
job. I am not saying they should make a rule out of it but it is not right to have sex when you will
not take care of a baby. |
