Too much thought on death is morbid. Focus instead on life, and how to improve yours. |

The question of where or when death will come will sort itself out. Spend your time thinking about
and living the life you do have as best you can. |

Some schools of Eastern mysticism encourage their followers to meditate upon their own death,
believing that doing so has beneficial effects on the way they approach their life. Certainly,
people value things more highly when they have contemplated losing them. People who jump off bridges
and survive don't usually do it again.
Part of maturing as a person involves contemplating your own limited lifespan, thinking about what
you have achieved so far in your life and what you would like to achieve in the time you have left.
Contemplating the end of your life can bring a kind of peace and serenity once you have reconciled
yourself to it, and made a disposition in your mind of all the things that trouble you. |

Thinking and worrying are different. Worrying about death is unnecessary, because it is inevitable.
Thinking, however, can be very interesting, and will not hurt mental health. |

Death is a natural part of life. If we try to deny it we are not using our rational minds. Also we
are the only animals that have the ability to wonder about our own and others deaths and so should
use it properly.
Death is a good thing, it allows people to get out of this horrible life and find eternal peace.
If anything we should focus more on death and not be worried at all, embrace it when it comes. |
