Yea, that's pretty much the nature of the bible. People get the tendency to think that they've
found some new light and so they can this or they can that. That's why no one likes to talk about
the bible or religion. Religion becomes this super power abstraction that you either agree with or
disagree with or don't care about. When in fact you're right. Everything is up to interpretation,
and that interpretation is always controversial. Thinking that you can apply that controversy to
your advantage is where things start to get sticky. |

Adultery is very simple. It is a married person having sex with someone who is not your spouse.
Don't try to use the Bill Clinton defence, it doesn't hold water. When you interpret the Bible, you
not only go to the language it was written in, but must also consider the customs of the times. |
