Yes, I would say this sounds fair and right.
I am in agreement with this debate for these reasons.
I do agree. |

It is totally unfair the people who do this. A lot of people can see through it but the old and
vulnerable who use the internet may not. These scams are illegal and the people responsible thrown
in prison. |

I agree, scams are like stealing money. |

As others here have said, they are already outlawed, as they should be. The get-rich-quick sites you
see one day might not be there the next, because they do get shut down. Problem is, they just open
somewhere else. |

I think that all of these crazy scams should be outlawed. They are false advertisement. They promise
all of this money for little work, but no job will give a lot of money for little work. Even though
it is freedom of speech, it is wrong. Your freedom only goes as far as the next guy’s nose. These
scams do harm others. They take their money and promise something that they never give. Most people
who fall for these scams are poor and have little money to begin with. For the people behind to scam
to take this money without giving something in return is wrong. Therefore, if a website cannot
deliver that they promise, they should be outlawed and removed from the web. Above all, they take up
too much valuable space on the internet that someone legit could use. |

Internet scams are already outlawed. There are organizations that encourage you to report any
internet scam that you come across and then they make sure these businesses are taken care of by the
authorities.
The problem here is that more and more scams keep surfacing every now and then. There is a need for
a mechanism that will discourage people from indulging into such fraudulent activities. |

How do you really define scam, i don't see it as stealing, if the scam artist lied about something
or twisted the truth I'm very against, however, with no disrespect meant there are some really dumb
people who fall for this sort of thing, if your going to put your credit card details on the
Internet, why not check the reliability of the source etc etc. But i must admit it can be very easy
to get sucked into a 'great deal' |

I agree with the premise of this, Scams are really horrible, But by outlawing it you stomp all over
our freedom of press, which we can't do. |
