Yes. Peace is an internal environment, which is the source of all joy of living (joie d vivre).
Peace, comes from spiritual enlightenment = Jehovah LORD God. |

One could say that since there is no god then any sense of peace derived religion is no different
from and no less delusional than that gained from drugs or alcohol. |

Babies are for the most part innocent and peaceful (and not just human, other animals too). They
have inner peace. They only lose their inner peace as they grow up and society imposes it's rules
and expectations. They didn't need positive reinforcement as babies in order to acquire their
initial inner peace.
And as OzzieMan said there are many paths to inner peace and following your deity is only one of
them. And in some cases following a religions doctrine will take away your peace instead of give
it. For example, some people are horribly allergic to wheat, but the Catholic church mandates the
hosts at communion must be made of wheat. There were appeals to the church to grant exceptions for
those people and they were told no, they can only share in the holy communion if they're willing to
eat the wheat which will make them sick. Now tell me, how much inner peace is that church-goer
going to get as they get sick from the "positive reinforcement" from that church? |

There are many paths to peace. Not all of them require deity. |
