It can be, it depends on whom you are around. If you're a PETA advertiser or something, it's
definitely easier than if you worked around meat-eaters. |

Yes, it is.
I used to be a vegan for awhile.
It didn't work out, because I got down to 90 pounds....too skinny.
I had to go get me a BK Whopper real quick ;-)
To keep my bones from sticking out. |

Although its true that there are a lot of choices on the Internet and even special shops and
supermarkets selling vegan food, it is a fact that these places are rare and since there aren't that
many vegans no market will ever produce more vegan food. And as long as vegans do not gain general
acceptance, the vegan food market will always stay small and will not develop. Additionally,
restaurants and shops that do offer vegan options, usually have no more than two opzions at most. |

I have no idea where Mac must live, but I live in California and I have never seen a Hare Krishna
temple, there may be one in San Francisco, 100 miles away, but that's it. I think the real trouble
with being a vegan is the fact that most fruits and veggies are picked before they have all the
nutrients they're supposed to have. California is called the food basket of the world, but I hate
to tell you, the ground has been farmed so hard, with now rest for the land that the nutrients are
all but gone. The farmers only put the nutrients that make them grow big and pretty not whats
needed for our bodies. |

Vegans are idiots and no provision should be made for their life to be sustained in such an extreme
and un-natural manner. |

It is probably a lot easier to be a vegan in today's society than in any other period in western
history. Multiculturalism in North America and in Western Europe has brought with it an array of
options when it comes to vegan eating and living. Most major cities, for example, have a Hare
Krishna temple, and many of them sell very good quality vegan food. It is not unusual for these
temples to have vegan restaurants as well, which serve meals for reasonable prices.
The Internet also serves as a great tool for vegans and it has the potential to make their lifestyle
much easier to follow. All it takes is a little research and effort on their part to create a
collection of vegan recipes. Several immigrant stores--especially those that focus on Middle Eastern
merchandise--will sell produce that has not come into contact with meat. As such, on the whole it is
now easier to be a vegan than ever before. |
