America is headed in the same direction friend. Not only do we have a large ILLEGAL immigrant
population, but we are seeing LEGAL immigrant increases like never before. This flood of both legal
and illegal immigrants is beginning to cripple this nation...among other things as well, such as the
"war" on terrorism.
Nationalism no longer exists. Culturalism is now the dominant drum being played over here...over
there in the UK as well. Speaking English is no longer a requirement nor is adopting the American
way of life as your own. Celebration of your tribal roots is the norm now. In fact, it is being
encouraged. What has that caused? Civil confusion and disruption. Can't do this because it
offends so and so; can't say that because it offends so and so; can't believe this because it
offends so and so, etc., etc., etc.
We are on the verge of a culture war over here, because we have allowed nations to exist and prosper
within a nation. The American government operates purely on political correctness propaganda. They
are allowing and masterminding the rewriting of our history so that it does not offend, for example,
the Chinese, Mexicans, Native Americans, and descendants Black Africans, to name but a few.
Your government is doing the same thing.

their child the right to use these services.

Innomen has it about right. I have to disagree with the statement because immigration is essential
to some degree and completely natural. However in the UK the levels are far to high, putting a
strain on our infrastructure, pushing up house prices and generally causing a worrying unease. It
hasn't been handled badly , it hasn't been handled at all. |

Immigration can be bad for a country if it is managed poorly. The UK, Germany, France (even worse
than the UK) handles it horribly. However, the population needs an influx when the society is
productive and growing. Also in the more industrial countries, the population tends to decrease as
it gains affluence. I fully understand your concerns; i see Europe losing its distinctive culture,
country by country. My beloved Ireland is the last of these countries to feel it, and the country
has no idea what they are in for. It has already become less Irish and more European. However, if
it was managed better, and stipulations made, it could help the society nicely. |
