Regardless of ones ideology concerning immigration, both legal and illegal, America (The United
States of America) has immigration laws whether you like it or not. It is illegal to be in the
USofA if you are not in the country legally. What is difficult to understand about that? Don't let
your ideologies get in the way of the existing laws. What matters is that these laws were put in
place to protect Americans and their resources. American resources belong to Americans. Want to
take part in the resources? Free trade and/or citizenship is the direction to take. Don't like
those options? Can't help it, that is the way it is.
And for those Americans who wish to live in denial. Take a good look at the South West and ask
yourself what is going on. Citizenship doesn't seem to be an option in that part of the country
anymore. There are well organized groups with agendas intentionally populating the South West
illegally. The Reconquista is in full swing and no one seems to want to notice. These movements
are illegal, purely ideological, and increasingly militant. Ignorance is not bliss! Wake up! |

Of course it's wrong. Why do you think we call it "illegal?" Though, unfortunately, I think it is
pretty much impossible to stop it. People will find ways to come here no matter what. |

Illegal immigration is something the government should pay close attention to. People should be
allowed to move wherever they want but they must remember to respect the rules of that country or
state/province. Many undocumented illegal immigrants work in the United States. Yes, i appreciate
their work but i would want them to become citizens before they actually join the working class. It
is not fair for them to be payed as low as they do and be treated so inhumanely in some cases. It
is not fair to them and it is not fair to all the other people working that are actual documented
citizens |

Yes! The government needs to go door to door and kick all of the illegal immigrants out! If they
really wanted to live in our country then they need to follow all of the procedures to get a green
card. They are taking all of our jobs and messing up the economy. |

Illegal immigration is *ALWAYS* bad. That's like saying that theft is only bad when the economy is
weak. It isn't the financial ramifications of illegal immigration that makes it bad, it's the fact
that people are ignoring our most basic laws. These people are CRIMINALS, just as much as any bank
robber or mugger. |

It is wrong because of the burden it puts on legal citizens. The first crime an illegal alien
commits is the federal crime of being here illegally. Other crimes like identity theft and
fraudulently getting welfare benefits (sometimes one person does this with numerous identities!) are
likely to follow. Other crime rates, including those for violent crimes, go up. Jobs are taken from
hard working, willing citizens. Wages are held down because employers would rather hire illegal
aliens for less pay and no benefits (and many employers don't pay taxes for this illegal workforce).
Illegal aliens generally will work in dangerous, even life-threatening conditions, and for too many
hours at a time because they are afraid to speak up. Remember the recent fires in California? Guess
who was forced to work in the farm fields, with the fires so close that ash was falling on their
heads? Students, legal citizens, are bilked out of the best education because our school system is
strained by, for one, illegal aliens. And there is a risk of some illegal aliens being terrorists. |

Any white person against the illegal immigration of Latinos in the US should move back to Europe.
Whites in the US are a result of illegal immigration.
Instead of whining about why people want to go to the US, why not ensure that the economies of these
people's countries offer a good enough standard of living that they don't feel the need to leave?
Oh, that's right; in many cases, it WAS the US and US-based corporations that made Central American
countries into economic basket cases by supporting fascist dictators in the past.
For the mentally slow, that means the US has brought illegal immigration on itself, just as it
brought 9/11 on itself. |

It's like if someone steals food. If they are doing simply to gain more food for free when they
clearly have the means to get it without stealing then it is wrong, however if like most of the time
it is because the people don't have the means and are forced to simply so they can survive then what
else are they supposed to do? |
