If Your School Starts At 8 And Ends At 3, The School Should Make It So You Can't Use Your Cell Phone From 7:30 To 3:30
Our school is doing that and my family, friends, and i think it is just plain stupid and pointless!

I agree with viking435 because i have to call my mom to see if my dad or mom id picking me up. Also i have to call my mom to see if my brother and i are walking home or something.

No because it is not safe.wat if there is a terrorists or something at your school.your parents will want to know and what if they come to pick you up and everyone is stuck inside, they might het shot!!!!!! We need our phones in school.if someone misuses their phone only that single person should get it taken away.its just smarter for everyone to have a phone with them, wherever you go

Yes because i have to call my mom after school to see if she or my dad is going to pick me up and if i have to walk somewhere for here to pick me up so it is a good idea.

Cellphones are a distraction.
Children (and me) are very easily distracted. Texting their BFFs if not going to help on their issue. If one needs information then the office should have a telephone.
