There was something that happened in my life that profoundly changed me. I am not a born again, but
i did have a spiritual experience that changed the purpose of my life. I was not so much convinced
by words, but by experience. |

I don't know about my "purpose in life" since that's defined by the individual, but certainly my
beliefs would change. It is important to me to believe as many factually true things as possible,
to reject as many factually false things as possible and to have a sound understanding of why things
are the way they are. If my beliefs were proven wrong, I would adopt better supported, more
logical, more rational beliefs. |

If someone proved that my belief was wrong then I wouldn't change my way of life. |

Not so much as I would be happy to change you, if you are willing to be changed. Otherwise? No, but
thanks for playing! |

Your beliefs affect the decisions you make and give you a certain perspective as you fulfil your
purpose in life. Now I guess the real question is ..... Was your purpose in life chosen before you
came to this world or is your purpose in life just a glorified goal? |

No.
Cuz I was once an Atheist, before I ever was a Christian.
I made no life changes or habit changes.
My faith was from Science not religion. It just made sense to me.
So no. I disagree. Religion is not tied to personality or reasons for doing this or that. That is
value judgement calls based on reason not ephemeral ideas of hypothetical stuff. |

My purpose in life is quite simply living, loving, thinking, and doing. Everything I learn just
contributes to my ability to do these things. I’ve had to reexamine many of my core beliefs over
time but these core purposes do not change. |

One of my life purposes is to try and discern truth. Sometimes it comes in the form of changing my
mind (beliefs) about something when I have new and better understanding or new evidence for a given
issue. Many of my previous "true" beliefs have been discarded, but my purposes in life are not
necessarily interrupted. |

I'm not sure what beliefs you are talking about, but there are none that could change that would
actually alter my purpose in life. Even if I learned that my goals in life would end up killing me
or something, I would rather continue on being happy and doing what I want to do. |
