If You Get Dumped By Someone Never Take Them Back
They dumped you so they can get on with out you, and then if they want you back tough, you had to live without them in your life so why should they not go through that? And if they dumped you they don't want you any more so why change their mind?

As a general rule it is much better never to go back, rather, live in the moment than trying to see if you could do things differently, especially when it applies to relationships.;-))

More times than not individuals are being foolish by getting back together with their exs.

This is more often true than not true so I'm agreeing. But I want to point out each scenario is different. It may be for example that you had a personal character flaw which you've now corrected - such as you were an alcoholic but now you're clean and sober a long time - and if that's the case then you shouldn't hold the fact that they're the ones who broke it off against them, in fact in that case you should feel real lucky if they took you back.

Personally I would not. But what about the people who were deeply in love with the person who dumped them? Or the person who did the dumping had family problems to get over first? There are probably other examples where it won't be as easy to get over as people may think. It depends on the person and the circumstances they're in.

You don't have to take them back unless you want to. If you want to, go ahead. Don't deny yourself something you want just because your want to punish them. You're really just punishing yourself. Even if you don't want to take them back, you should forgive them and be at peace with them for your sake and theirs. Hate and unforgiveness will hurt your soul even if you are not aware of it at first.

But what if they're out of your league? You should jump at the chance to get them back.

I don't think this debate is for league players.
