That is true. All we need are the 10 commandments to follow everyday and everyone would be better
off. |

Jesus Christ came to proclaim the Kingdom of Heaven, which is God's perfect rule, and so if everyone
accepted by faith His perfect rule, then, yes, there would be complete peace. |

I'm for it - BUT - An implausible ideal. Every religion believes it is the right one, and they all
have variations and offshoots. True the Christian bible has much violence however, I believe the
proposer is referring to the New Testament, in which Jesus says he represents a new beginning and
gives a new commandment, that we love one another. As Christian we are to respect the beliefs of
others, and question our own, especially when others tel us what to believe. Until the unlikely day
when all agree that the real truths are hidden away in all religions, it is unlikely we will achieve
a peaceful world. |

So, all those who do live by the Bible are free from war, poverty, and crime? |

Disagree. The Bible is hard to interpret correctly, therefore I doubt it would enable World Peace.
Most holy books have different interpretations, in particular the Quran and the Bible. I know of a
wiseman who said "Never write anything", very likely referring to this. Speech is the tool for
spreading the word. Jesus Christ didn't write the Bible, his disciples did after he had died on the
cross. |

That's the middle ages also known as the dark ages. The bible is just a book made by men to scare
other men( and women) into doing what they (the ones in power) want them to do. "got to keep the
loonies on the path" |

We did. For the longest time too. This was known as the dark ages. |

When the Christians start living by the buybull themselves, they can start talking to others.
Oh, wait, Christians already do - look at the mass murders of the crusades, slavery, etc. Yep,
that's their moral centre. |

The Bible speaks only of peace after Christ returns for His believers. The Second Coming is a hand.
Just read your Bible and you will see that we are in the end times. |

What, you mean the same Bible that orders "suffer not a witch to live" and tells you to stone unruly
children to death and kill homosexuals? That Bible?
The Bible causes more violence than it could ever solve. We'd do a lot better if we'd get rid of
religion. |

Ireland was Chistan place, every one (almost every one) was Christian and lived if according to the
gospel, They blew each other up. |

The Bible does not promise earthly peace for all. It would be MORE peaceful though. I am a
Christian saying this. |

There is war, poverty, and crime in the bible, and a lot of it happens to people that didn't want to
get involved in any
chaos. Evil does not exist because someone wrote the bible, it would be
here regardless. Chaos started the universe probably. |
