If There Were A Magic Pill Most Of Us Would Take It... Eventually
Sure I know the expression "there is no magic pill" and I agree, but every now and thing there's a medical breakthrough and new possibilities arise. So, hypothetically, if they invented a magic pill for... Say... Cancer eradication, super long life, muscle physique (or whatever) we'd be skeptical, we might wait long to see how it effects others, yet if it were truly a magic pill we'd eventually take it. Granted those resisting all Western medicine would decline, or some might not afford it, etc., but if available and effective most would at least try it.

After years of testing and proven safe and effective, if a pill came around that improved my life somehow, heck yeah I'd take it! Why in blazes not??

If people spend hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars and go through surgery just to improve their looks, then why wouldn't they swallow a pill if they knew it worked?

And as for cancer eradication, you'd have to be insane not to take that pill.

That's only your opinion.. Some people, like myself wouldn't take it, You must remember life isn't measured by how many breaths you take but by how many moments that take your breath away. If there really was a majic pill it would be a huge downfall to humanity. Its to good to be true, and if overpopulation didn't get us something else would.

Definitely.

I bet people who are opposed to plastic surgery would take a pill that made their wrinkles disappear, or their noses smaller.

 These are long expensive processes. There are negative aspects to these things also. Now taking this magical pill takes 2 seconds and they also come in different flavors (if it's magical it might as well taste good).

Those processes are external processes. The magical pill is an internal process.
