His Favourability Won't Change
"Now As Then A Beast Approaches, But It Was King Leonidas Who Provoked It"
It's The Same Basic Principle
People Will Still Curse The Air Blue Thinking About What He Did To Provoke This War And They'll
Still Make Bad Jokes About Him (Which I'm Sorry For chadocat). When something Goes Wrong We Look For
Someone To Blame

Actually I'm not sure which side this should be on. It really all depends on when the next
terrorist attack occurs. When the Pentagon and WTC were struck GWB was in office not quite eight
months, however some tried to blame him for the attacks. In truth the attacks got through as a
result to the previous eight years of butchering our military and security forces and just a totally
lax attitude toward our national security. If an attack came within one year of Barak Obama's term,
I'm pretty sure George W. Bush would be blamed. However if the attack came, say three years into
Obama term, I would hope the majority of Americans would be intelligent enough to see that George W.
Bush held off the terrorist during his terms and when we put a surrender and cower President in
office that WE screwed up. If McCain is somehow elected and we got attacked...the blame will more
likely shift to him regardless.
I believe in 20 years history will look back at George W. Bush as tough and courageous President
with a lot of integrity and with a very difficult two terms to administer. |
