If Obama Is Elected, We Should Withdraw Our Troops Using The Timetable He Has Set Up
Obama has stated that he plans to withdraw American troops within sixteen months of being elected. I think this is a very good thing, but I want to see what all of you think.

It's one of his main policies is it not? If he can stick by it it'll only be good for the US.

Seams to me a small reward for massive effort, if America were to pull out before the job is done.

He only jumped on this for an election promise, and probable one he can't keep.
I for one don't believe he can do a better job than all the coalition put together.

If Obama is to be elected, I still think that we are to be cautious and withdraw our troops gradually, not all at once...perhaps a brigade per 6 months.

Minimum amount of time your plan would take to leave Iraq: 15 years
Likely amount of time: 25 years

See a problem here? Maybe a division at a time, every 3 months, that would take about 2.5 years.
