When you put it that way, it does seem hypocritical to demand both sole dominion of your body and
government assistance when something goes wrong. I never thought of it like that before. |

In general, yes, you are responsible for paying for healthcare. The exception is when you or your
employer or your taxes are paying for health insurance which is supposed to cover health costs.
The state, and by extension the taxpayers, shouldn't be responsible for paying for your health care
costs, that's your job. |

i pay for everyones by taxes and everyone pays for mine
i still should have the right to what goes in and out of my body
but if i were evading taxes and not paying them then the NHS should not cover my treatment, as it
wouldn't be right to have people cover mine |
