I think it is wasted resources to track illegals to send back. Especially when this country has a
double standard of who gets to stay and who has to go back.
For example, there is a policy where if Cubans can make it to dry land in the US they can stay. Its
called the "Wet-Foot Dry-Foot Policy". An illegal immigration policy set aside for Cubans. Yet if
a Haitian who happens to be in the same boat as a Cuban and they make it to land, The Cuban gets to
stay and the Haitian who comes from the most oppressive and poorest country in the world more so
than Cuba has to go back to Haiti.
So the problem is the US is not consistent with its policies and has favoritism for certain groups
of immigrants. |
