Yeah. I personally believe completely in monkey evolution, and there might be something in that. |

True, but the question is, is Western Art depicting it accurately? Undoubtedly no. Each skin
color generally depicts God, Jesus, angels, as like them to feel closer to them (not always with
God). As a white person, of course I feel that Jesus, and angels are white(ish) But I by no means
reject other's interpretations. |

Garamond, are you saying that for every aesthetic variation of different nationalities there is a
different Adam and Eve? You seem to have a different copy of the bible to mine, mine never says the
creation of Adam and Eve is 'symbolic'. Also, ironically I think you mean 'literate' not
"litterate". |

I agree if that were true and our genes were based on adam and eve's then surely any skin color that
isn't white or eye color that isn't the same as either adam or eve's is a genetic mutation or a
result of a disease. |

I agree. Variation to such a degree from two people is impossible for atheist beliefs to comprehend,
but the intelligent design guys will say it's due to evolution. Christians... Well I don't know what
they'll say.
Just be aware that the whole western art argument is flimsy. Westerners painted Jesus as a white guy
with brown hair and blue eyes. Not your typical Isralite. We painted Adam and Eve caucasion because
to paint them like anything else would have created uproar. |

I think that micro-evolution explains the variety of races and animals within a species.
They were not European like the European artists who painted them as such, however. |

It all has to do with evolution and the way the human body has changed. Though I am agnostic, You
could make an argument that if Adam and Eve were the first and only 2 human beings, then to populate
the earth the incest between their generations would have caused severe mutation.
And if you look at any drawing of adam or eve you will see that they are not prehistoric ppl like
they should be |

Adam and Eve never existed so the original assumption is wrong. Further, Western representations
wouldn't be accurate even if Adam and Eve had been real, but then again, neither would all of the
pictures of Jesus. The real Jesus, if there ever was such a thing, would have been much, much
darker, perhaps even black, but that kind of thing doesn't sit well with the traditionally white
Western European audience who is responsible for most of the artwork over the ages. |

First, Adam & Eve are just symbolic representation of the origin of man on Earth.
Second : What you call "Causasian depiction" is true for Caucasian countries. In Africa, Adam & Eve
are black, In Asia, they are depicted with slanted eyes, etc.
Your assumption doesn't mean a thing to litterate people... |
