I think they should do an experiment all shirts $5-10 all jackets $15-30 dollars. See if they make
more money that way. Because as much as I love Pac Sun, Hollister, and all that I never shop there
because there's no way in hell I'm paying $25 dollars for freakin tee that has Hollister scribbled
across it so I'm forced to shop at Kohl's so yeah just like a 2 week experiment just to see if they
get more volume.
I think everything needs to drop in price, and that way the stores will sell more, and then they can
drop the price even more. And i get more clothes :-)
The shops would probably make more money by putting clothes at cheaper prices more people will by
them instead of putting them at high prices and fewer people by them
I agree. Some clothes are really expensive like a top I saw in the shops with a few buttons on it
and that was it!!!! It was for $40! I could make it myself!
I agree. Everyone needs clothes on their back and it would be very useful if clothes were a lot
cheaper. Personally, I can't understand why people choose to spend ridiculous amounts of money on
clothes. Clothes can get torn and damaged quite easily, so it's silly to splash out on something
that may end up being thrown away a few months later!
Yes this is a very good idea indeed.
It would be lovely if all clothes were a lot cheaper, especially designer clothes which are so
expensive that most of us can't afford them.
If clothes were less expensive we could all be well dressed, have more clothes and much better
choice of what we wear.
The whole idea is excellent and should come into force now!
The profit margins on some clothes is staggeringly high and designers and manufacturers are making a
lot of money.
If clothes produced in this country were lower it wold discourage all the profiteering Fromm cheap
labour sources abroad. Some of the cheap goods we get from abroad are poor quality and the product
of exploitation of the young .
Shops buy in clothes at rock bottom prices and them sell them for grossly inflated prices and no-one
really profits apart from the sellers and designers.
Uhh No! Clothes are pretty much a neccesitie and the stores know that. If they know people need them
and they prefer cute clothes, they should price them at a reasonable price, which they are doing
now. If you want cheaper clothes i agree wit hiddensc, shop at goodwill!
but we are so much in debt as it is right now! so if we make clothes cheaper the less money the company is going to have to spend making the clothes a packaging them. and plus they will sell more. so they will make more. like take goodwill for instance they make more money then target and even walgreens!
