| I Think Marks Are A Better Indicator Of Students Knowledge And Not Alphabetical Grades. |
| Marks are specific in nature whereas grades are very vague .the range is far too wide
the student who has secured 98% is given an A1 grade so is a student securing 86%
where is the difference? A student receiving marks knows exactly where he stands and what he must do more to improve himself. In the case of grades the student is unable to better his performance since he is unaware of his exact performance level. |

Yes you know far more if you have marks as opposed to an alphabetical letter.;-)) |

Well obviously, as it's more precise. |

You could have both, or maybe its because the teachers can't be bothered to work out a percentage so
they just stick and A, B etc on it instead, writing comments on work helps a lot then you can see
what you've done wrong and what you've done right etc |
