Yes because if you don't you are damming yourself to hell.
Edit: Forget what i put up above this statement is incorrect
Yes i believe that you should believe in God but just knowing he is there isn't enough because the bible says that even the devil and the fallen angels believe and tremble. So you have to do more. You need to ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive you of all of your sins and realize that he died on the cross for yours, mine, and everybodies sin. He did that out of Love and well "greater love hath no man than this that he lay down his life for his friends"
for more info or clarification just leave something in my shout box

What a horrific thing to say. Do you condone this view and preach it as the message of God? It is with disgust that I respond to your hateful, sadistic post and may God have mercy on your soul.

Yes, I should, because I am rational and sane and don't believe that the universe hatched from an egg that laid itself by mistake.

I do. Every time Science has tried to prove the bible wrong.....science has failed! The proof is all around you and unless you have no knowledge of the bible or god...how do u even know?

Apparently, you have no knowledge at all about science itself. Science doesn’t attempt to explain anything supernatural, much less prove it wrong. Your accusations, which are based off of an exceptional lack of understanding concerning scientific goals, are completely false. For a claim that is so obviously inaccurate, it sure does get repeated quite often around this site.

I believe that religion is a driving force, a way to hold your self accountable for your acts, a way to be reward with eternal life, a way to produce world wide connections that aren't restrained by physical boundaries. Religion produced writing, the first sciences, and united Europe in the middle ages so that they would develop industrially and intellectually. A believe in a god has resulted in hundreds of thousands of mission trips to third world countries and billions of dollars in charity. Martin Luther King, Jesus (if real, I believe he was a mortal human man), Ghandi, and so many other great men have promoted peace all over the world. All of these results are from an invisible, omnipresent being who provides life.

Yes! Faith is a motivation that drives you to achievement and keeps you going. But having said that some people choose not to believe and want to derive their motivation from other things like science or their own strength. Forcing faith onto someone is wrong and no one should be forced to believe in God. Faith and belief in God is something very personal and it should be left that way.

Creation is the only thing that makes sense. Life creates life, it's the only way it's ever been, and there's no proof otherwise.

You're the one making the claim, so the burden of proof rests on your shoulders. Speaking of which, where is the proof to support your assertion that only life can create life?

God made the Universe, I can't see how people can't believe in that, too hard headed maybe?

Doesn't take much thought... Come on now kids! How do you think everything was magically created? It just happened? That makes a lot of sense!

Using the term "magic" in your statements which attempt to support your claims about the Universe's formation only makes the assertion seem self-indulgent and infantile. Either way, there’s no objective evidence that supports the notation that anything was ever “magically” created. I don't understand why you would think that the "Come on, isn't it obvious" claim would convince anyone.

I don't believe in God. I believe that if there is something after this life which is amazing, that the only way to get there is to follow your heart in life and do the things you believe in your heart are right. The bible is a book wrote by man and man is always dishonest. The bible is a guidance to a moral life, but so is the law. But can a good God condemn a poor mother stealing for her starving baby, the bible would say yes. But in her heart that is the right thing to do, and in my heart i agree with her doing that.

Why should I believe in god, because you said so? In that case then you should believe that Santa lives on the moon and has a rifle (random I know but basically the same).
